Custer County South Dakota Search & Rescue (CCSAR) is a volunteer organization dedicated to training for and providing search, rescue and other emergency responses to people in and around Custer County. GAME, FISH AND PARKS
The purpose of the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks is to perpetuate, conserve, manage, protect, and enhance South Dakota’s wildlife resources, parks, and outdoor recreational opportunities for the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the people of this state and its visitors, and to give the highest priority to the welfare of this state’s wildlife and parks, and their environment, in planning and decisions. HUNTING REGULATIONS IN THE BLACK HILLS
It is the hunter’s responsibility to know the regulations and game limits while hunting in the Black Hills National Forest. Hunters should refer to this year’s hunting regulations for guidance and information. South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks and Wyoming Game, Fish and Parks Department manage big game in the Black Hills National Forest. PENNINGTON COUNTY JAIL
Those arrested in and are charged with offenses in Custer County who are subsequently incarcerated are transported to the Pennington County Jail.
